Lenses

Single Vision Lenses
Our single vision lenses are available with optional extras such as:
- Anti Reflection coating (helps eliminate unwanted light reflections, which can enhance vision and help reduce symptoms of glare, particularly useful for driving and VDU work)
- Blue Light coating (can help reduce symptoms of visual stress and fatigue and enhances contrast, perfect for our digital era!)
- Thin/High Index lenses (helps reduce the weight of the spectacles, cosmetically more appealing and also helps reduce magnification/minification effects. Highly recommended for all prescriptions over 4DS/DC)
- Tints (turn your spectacles into sunglasses with a range of colours to choose from)
- Transitions (no need for separate sunglasses, the transition lens will turn darker when you go outside, including the option of a transition which works behind your windscreen whilst you are driving. Practical and efficient, particularly as we all require UV protection to help prevent common eye conditions such as cataracts. Available in GREY or BROWN)
Bifocal Lenses
- This type of lens has a visible segment in the lower part of the lens.
- We can incorporate two prescriptions in one bifocal – distance, near, or intermediate.
- Coatings/tints/transitions/thin lenses are available with bifocals.

Varifocal Lenses
- The ‘ALL IN ONE’ lens
- Struggling to see your colleagues and VDU at the same time? Struggling to see your speedometer and motorway signs at the same time? Fed up of swapping between multiple pairs of spectacles? If so, varifocals are the way to go!
- Ideal for all those who multi-task and have more than one prescription (distance, near, intermediate).
- No visible marking on the lens so no one can tell you are wearing a varifocal
- We offer superior quality varifocals, including NOVA lenses and PHYSIO lenses.
- Coatings/tints/transitions/thin lenses are available with varifocals.
Contact lenses
We are able to conduct contact lens assessments for new and existing wearers.
There are many types of contact lenses to help correct your vision, including toric lenses (for astigmatism) and multifocal lenses (to correct distance and near vision in presbyopes)
Our optometrist will conduct a thorough examination and recommend contact lenses according to your modality of wear, the environment you are exposed to, and the general health of your eyes.
